Gertrude “Dee” Bernadette Magness, 80, a resident of Pearland, TX formerly of California, passed away August 5, 2023 in Houston, TX. Dee was born August 22, 1942 in Plattsburgh, NY. While living in Pearland she attended Church of Latter-Day Saints in Friendswood, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gertrude Burke, Jr.; sister, Penny; brothers: Chuck, Pat, and John.

She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Richard G. Magness; daughters: Kathryn, Kim; son, Keith; grandchildren: Marina, Carlyn, Brandy, Molly, Tiffany, and Elijah; great grandchildren: Madalyn, Arlo, Alex, Zoe, and Blake; sisters: Peggy, Ginny; brother, Bill.

Dee will be buried at Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 2:15 p.m.
