Gerald Wade Glover, of League City, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, in League City, Texas at the age of 85. He was born on July 26, 1938, in Kilgore, Texas to Aubrey Clifford and Bessie Thelma Glover.

Gerald Glover attended Southeastern Louisiana College, 6 years active duty in the United States Army, Worked in the oil industry for ODECO for over 20 years, and finally worked in the Chemical industry as a Truck driver for more than 20 years before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Bessie and brother Don Glover.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife Loralie Jane Glover, Daughter, Marianne and husband Dave Krause, sons Tim and wife Natalie Glover, Garner Wade Glover Sr., sister Carol Glover, grandchildren, Garner Wade Glover Jr, Greg and Kristara Glover, Alyssa Welch, Riley Glover, and Savanna and Jaxson Glover, Timson and Kila Carrier, Ashley Maickelson, and 9 great grandchildren. 

Graveside services have been Scheduled for January 19, 2024 at 9:15 am at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038
