Franklin Joseph Palermo
Franklin Joseph Palermo, born on September 15, 1953, was a lifelong resident of League City, Texas. He built a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. He passed away on December 21, 2025.
Frank was the son of Don and Catherine Palermo. Growing up on Daro Farms, he developed a love for farming. He particularly enjoyed cantaloupe and watermelon seasons, finding immense satisfaction in working the land. Each year, many looked forward to stopping along Highway 3 for the cantaloupes and watermelons he sold. This passion stayed a significant part of his life.
Frank graduated from Clear Creek High School, where he excelled as an athlete, playing both football and baseball. He later embarked on a successful 35-year career, as a supervisor with the BP Products refinery in Texas City, earning the respect of colleagues for his dedication and strong work ethic. Frank had a natural ability to connect with people and always found a way to bring laughter to those around him.
A man of strong faith, Frank was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, attending weekly services. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing, and some of his most cherished memories were fishing with his son, from the waters of Galveston to later years at Canyon Lake.
Frank was the loving husband of Lois Palermo and a devoted father to his son, Scott Palermo (wife, Candice). He was also a proud grandfather to Caiden, Cailum, and Cillian. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his sister, Diane Palermo Mock, and his brother, Steven Palermo (wife, Lisa).
Frank will be remembered for his enduring faith, humor, and the deep commitment he showed to his family throughout his life.
