Eugene “Gene” Henriksen

Eugene “Gene” Henriksen, 85, resident of League City, Texas passed away December 12, 2017. He was born February 3, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Perry B. Henriksen and Marceline Miller Henriksen.
Gene retired from Lipton Tea after 37 years with the company. He and his wife then enjoyed many years touring the U.S. on his gold wing motorcycle with fellow friends, enjoying the companionship and adventures.
Gene served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Texas Association Motorcycle Enthusiasts and Friends, and a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association and Friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Norma O. Henriksen; son, Raymond Henriksen and wife Janet; two granddaughters, Lauren Henriksen and Kathleen Barnes and husband Jacob; and grandson, Raymond “Ray” Henriksen, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Lillian Barns.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 17, 217 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Interment will be private.

  2. My prayers go out to the Henriksen family. Gene was one of the sweetest men I knew. He and Norma always made people feel loved. He will be missed.
