Edward “Jerry” Gerald Adam
Edward “Jerry” Gerald Adam, 82, was born August 13, 1935 in Rochester, NY and passed away February 26, 2018. Jerry has been a resident of Houston, TX since 1977.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, William and Virginia Adam; sisters: Betty Murphy, Shirley Blanchard and Carol Dean; Brothers: Billy Adam and Tommy Adam.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a carpenter and home builder and he truly loved his work.
Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of fifty-five years, Thekla Adam; daughters: Connie Foley and her husband Mike, and Nicole Hilliard and her husband Marc; son, Don Adam and his wife Becky; grandchildren: Katelyn Adam, Haley Adam, Garrett Adam, Jace Foley, Hayden Foley, Austin Spain, Jaden Hilliard, Conner Hilliard and Harrison Hilliard; brothers: Jimmy Adam, Don Adam and his wife Carol, Ronny Adam and his wife Betty, Danny Adam and his wife Irene and Gary Adam and his wife Brenda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Noon in the Chapel of St. Joseph, which adjoins the church. A Rosary will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the main church followed by Mass at 1:30 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546.

Carol and I offer our sympathies to Thekla, Connie, Nicole, Don and their families. We were saddened to learn of Gerry’s recent failing health issues and then, of his passing. He was a true family man, blessed with the Adam sense of humour. It was so great that he was able to come to the family reunions the last two or three years to connect with his siblings and relatives.
