Donald Harold Davis, 87, of League City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2019 in League City, Texas. He was born on March 22, 1932 in Staten Island, New York to Ida (Claire) and Sam Davis. Donald loved writing and authored “Catching a Glimpse” a collection of short stories, poems and haikus. He loved music and theater as well as acting in several community theater productions. Donald was Recognized Professor Emeritus in Human Services at St Petersburg College.

Donald was preceded in death by his: parents, mother, Ida (Claire) father, Sam; and stepfather, Vincent McCann. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Davis; son, Steve Davis and his wife Dian; grandchildren, Colleen Erickson and her husband, Joby Erickson, Emily Wolloch, John Anders (Emily’s boyfriend) and Daniel Davis and his wife, Stephanie and great-grandchildren, Keagan, Lillyah, Clara and Rylee.

On Friday, May 10, 2019, a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 10:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker, League City, TX 77573.
