David Michael Landin, 80, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Texas City. David was born February 8, 1943, in Raymondville, Texas, to Dr. Melchor and Ruth Landin.  He has been a resident of Texas City for 33 years, formerly of Brownsville.  David served in the United States Navy. He was a Retired Commercial Diver in underwater service, a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the 5236 M J Babin Jr. Council. David is survived by his wife Patty Landin; two daughters: Christina Youngblood (Douglas) of Texas City and Debra Isbell (Joe) of Crosby;  two sons: Charles Landin of Texas City, William Landin of Austin; three sisters: Carmen Ruenes (Rick) of Brownville, Rosario Putegnat of Brownville, and Toni Wise of Brownville; and one brother: Ray Landin (Sammi) of Herdon, Virginia He loved his dogs T.J., Booger, Belle, and Chiquita and well as his cat Moosie and Grand dogs (Charlie) Ginger, Bailey, Ralphie and Hymie  A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, La Marque, with MSGR James Anderson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque.
