David J. Wiederholt

David J. Wiederholt fell asleep in death on October 18, 2018.  He is survived by his daughter Laurie Peyton and husband Brian, brothers Conrad and John Wiederholt and many nieces and nephews.

Born on April 19, 1934 in Westby, WI to Walter and Ebba Wiederholt, he was the 6th of 7 children.  He was joined in marriage on April 30th, 1954 to Leona Ewing and had one daughter.  David was an industrial carpenter most of his life, then in the Insurance business a number of years before retiring to care for Leona.   He symbolized his dedication to Jehovah God in 1942 and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Red Cedar River in WI and was a loyal, faithful servant for over 76 years.  David enjoyed many privileges of service including conducting dramas at conventions, helping to build Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls and even playing in the orchestra as a young man at assemblies. His service to Jehovah was his greatest joy and had a future hope of a resurrection to God’s Kingdom on a paradise earth.  (John 11:25, Revelation 21:3,4)

“Dad will be dearly missed not only by myself and Brian but also many relatives and friends.  We would like to express our deep appreciation for your presence here today along with the many comforting messages, prayers and all other expressions of kindness shown”.
