Curtis Evan Terry

Curtis Evan Terry, 75, was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away on October 9, 2019. Curtis was born July 16, 1944 in Albertville, AL to Wesley and Sue Terry. He graduated from Boaz High School in Boaz, AL then proudly served his country while in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1962-1965. Curtis moved to Texas in 1981 and has been a resident of Pearland, TX for over 20 years. He also was a member of the Pearland VFW. He enjoyed being creative with woodwork projects and specialty pens. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching Alabama Crimson Tide football and Houston Astros baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, including his best buddy and grand dog,  Roscoe. Curtis was loved by all and will be greatly missed, especially for his smile and sense of humor.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish the many memories are his daughter, Lee (Lela Sue) Terry; son, Curtis Bryan Terry and wife Terri; grandchildren: Ashley Hayes, Harrison Hayes, Rebecca Terry and Nathan Terry; sister, Susan Terry Wise and husband David; brother Wesley Terry, as well as many other family members and friends.

Interment of ashes with military honors will be on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:45 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery.

  2. Curtis was a great friend and will be missed a lot. He had a great sense of humor. He talked about Ashley’s dog, Roscoe often. He said he was ready to meet God and I know he’s in a much better place now free from pain.He had much love from his children and grandchildren and I know it meant so much to him that they were there for him. God bless his family!!!
