I had the pleasure of playing for Coach Willams in1962 at Carlsbad NM. He and Coach Herman Hudson made a huge impact on my life. RIP COACH YOU WILL BE MISSED
We love you Charlie. You enriched our lives & our family with your love & support. Always in our hearts with many happy memories.
Will always remember your kindness and joking fun manner toward me Uncle Charlie! You were a wonderful example of strong character and respect, not only toward me but all who knew you. It mattered as I married a man of that same respect and character. Thank you. I know you and Scott are together and that is a big comfort for me. Love you and Donna, Beth
Donna I am so sorry over your loss of Charlie. I know things had really gotten difficult for him and for you but he was such a good man and companion for you. I loved his quiet demeanor and his gentle laughter. I’m convinced uncle Harry greeted him warmly in heaven and they’re already discussing sports.
My love to you as you meet the challenges ahead. Pam and Jim too
Coach you were one of the best history teacher I had at CHS and a great coach for the Cavemen. My condolences to the families.
We are thinking about you and Brodie as you navigate a new normal! Uncle Charlie was a wonderful man who had a contagious laugh/chuckle that is fondly recalled from my childhood. He always had a big hug to give and a smile to share. He will remain with us in spirit. We are sending you love and comfort Aunt Donna and pray that peace surrounds all of you.
Uncle Charlie is a blessing in my life, our family’s lives and everyone who was blessed to know him. He is a loving, kind and caring man. I loved being with him and have fond memories talking about high school and colleges sports with him. Aunt Donna, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. May God’s love and grace give you the peace and comfort only He can provide during this time and always.
Donna, I know you will miss him so, just like I miss Jim, but we had so many wonderful memories of our coaching days together in Carlsbad, and all the coaches re- unions with the rest of the gang–not many of us left now. Jim was so proud when your family moved to Carrollton, and we got to be with you for about two more years! I’ll keep you in my prayers. Jo Anne Arnold 1/14/25 2:30 pm
