Betty Lincecum Heath
Betty Lincecum Heath, passed away and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on August 12, 2026 in Houston, Texas at the age of 94.
She was born on January 25, 1932, in Leesville, Texas to Melton and Marguerite Lincecum.
Betty was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She was a believer in our Savior and loved her church and Sunday School class. She had a very vibrant and engaging personality and smile, and loved travelling, new adventures, dancing, and most of all, playing cards. For many years she worked as a bookkeeper in the medical industry before becoming a travel agent, where she spent over thirty years with American Express Travel Company. Betty was always very active, playing in multiple bridge and poker clubs, dancing with her friends in the afternoons well into her 80’s, while constantly preparing for her next trip somewhere in the world. Like so many say they should, Betty truly lived every day of her life to the fullest.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert A. Heath, her daughter, Sherilyn Kay Heath, her parents, her sister Sandra Friery, her brother, Kerry Lincecum, and her wonderful friend and companion, Frances “Jimmy” Wedder.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Heath Gaddis and husband, Keith, her son Darryl Heath and wife Bettye, her granddaughter, Brandi Roberts DeVries and husband Jason, her grandsons, Ryne Heath and wife Paige, Jake Heath and wife Jennie, Ben Heath, and Cole Heath, her great grandchildren, Joelle Harper Heath, and Jamie Grace Heath, and many loving family and friends.
A Grave Side Ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 3:00 pm at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main, Pearland, Texas, followed by a Celebration of Life reception at Golfcrest Country Club, 2509 Country Club Drive, Pearland, Texas.
