  10. Betty was a great lady and I feel so fortunate to have known her. We both served on the endowment committee back in the day. We stayed friends for many years and she was so respected and admired by me. I saw her last year at the Galentine’s Day event at the Mediterraneo Market Cafe last February. She gave me the biggest hug and told me how proud she was of me. What a great example she was of a smart, driven business woman and a big supporter of other women in the business. She will be greatly missed!

  12. Betty was my boss at Gulf Coast Authority for many years. She was the Director of Finance. She was responsible for any success I enjoyed. We had many discussions about government accounting theory over the years. She was passionate about the field. It was a pleasure to serve under her.

  14. Betty may have been a real Christian, but Alfred Forsten is not a devout Christian, he is an abusive monster! I am leaving this here simply because my kids are being kept from me by Alfred Forsten blackmailing and threatening his own grandkids. I never kept my kids away from the Forsten because I didn’t want it being done to me. I’ll let them make their own decision after their father, Alfred, Herman Forsten, Jr. threaten to kill me and our entire family and assaulted me a number of times. His father, Alfred, Hermann Forsten, Sr. threatened to take my children if I divorced Al Jr. they also broke into my home and stalked me. He even called my family and cut me off for my family trying to find dirt on me. Of course, there wasn’t any! Several people warned me, but try telling that to someone who needs neurosurgery and is slowly dying after having her medical record stolen after being assaulted by Al, Jr. I should be a millionaire right now, but instead, I’m homeless because of this family and their network! This was also done to his first wife, Marilyn Forsten as well. I learned a lot from Betty. Devout Christians don’t do this to people! I did everything I could to help Al Jr. and it nearly cost me my life. Cut, cutting me off for my family is not a Christian thing at all! If you want to do something in her memory, help make this right, and get me back in touch with my kids! I cannot deny what happened to me no victim and domestic violence should have to lie saying something didn’t happen when it in fact, did! #TheStoriesDontMakeSenseUntilYouTryToLeave!
