Bernardino Victor Hernandez, 72, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Webster.  He was born on November 8, 1952, in Laredo, Texas, to Bernardino and Guadalupe Hernandez. Bernardino worked for 20+ years with TXU Energy as an Operator.
He is preceded in death by his father Bernardino B. Hernandez; wife, Rony Hernandez, and one nephew, Jesus Munoz. Bernardino is survived by his mother Guadalupe Hernandez; two sisters: Maria Hojnacki (Mike) and Diana Canales (Eddie); brothers: Miguel Hernandez (Della), Perfecto Hernandez (Margaret) and Juan Hernandez (Theresa); daughter, Marcy Colley (Wade); son, Dan Chaney; seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City from 9:00-10:00am. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am on with Father Clint Ressler officiating. Services are under the direction of James Crowder Funeral Home La Marque.
