Barbara Elaine Vick passed from this life to be with her Savior on Friday, February 11, 2022. Barbara was born July 11, 1961 to Robert and Wanda Zaugg in Alliance, Ohio. She grew up in East Rochester, Ohio and attended school in Minerva. She worked as a registered nurse and most recently worked in hospice care. Barbara loved life. She was very involved with family, church and community. She was an avid quilter, music lover, bird watcher, and enjoyed reading and kayaking.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Perry, her parents, Robert and Wanda, and infant brother, Brent.

She is survived by her daughter Erin and son-in-law John, sisters Nancy Cooper and Caryl (Glen) Thompson, nieces Katie (Scott) Welch and Amy (Ralph) Accardo, nephew Steve (Christine) Kohl, great nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held at The Watershed Church in League City on February 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s name to HCMA (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association) at 4HCMA.org, The Watershed Church at https://bethewatershed.breezechms.com/give/online,  or to Bay Area Pet Adoptions at https://www.bayareapetadoptions.org/donate/ , where she adopted her dog Finn.
