Anna Maria Garcia
Anna Maria Garcia, 71, of La Marque, passed away Thursday July 23, 2026, in Galveston. Anna was born on November 10, 1954, in Galveston, Texas, to Jesus and Guadalupe Gonzales.
She has been a resident of La Marque for 50 years. Anna was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and was the Supervisor Mail Clerk for American National Insurance Company.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Anna is survived by her husband Francisco Garcia; a stepdaughter, Maria Elena Garcia of Los Angeles; a son, Stephen Salinas of Galveston; one sister: Maria Teresa Wiles of Fresno; and three grandsons: Danny Garcia, Stephen Salinas, Kr. and Jacob Merrell.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm, Wednesday July 29, 2026, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque, with Msgr James Anderson officiating.
