Amber Dawn Gordon
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved daughter, Amber Dawn Gordon, who left us far too soon on May 25, 2025, at the age of 36. Her presence was a gift, and her absence is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. Amber Dawn Gordon was born on November 22, 1988, in Houston, Texas, and from the very beginning, she filled our lives with light, laughter, and love. She was brilliant in so many ways—quick-witted, deeply thoughtful, and full of a spark that made her unforgettable. She will always be remembered for her compassion, her fierce loyalty, and the strength with which she faced every challenge. Amber fought through life’s hardest moments with her faith in God, courage, and a determination that inspired everyone around her. Her spirit was generous, and her love for her family and friends was unwavering. She will forever be our “sunshine.”
She is survived by her precious 2-year-old son, Jonah Lee Gordon; her loving parents, Misty and David Dudley; her cherished grandparents, Mary Gordon, Clarence Gordon, David and Elsie Dudley; her sister, Danielle Michelle Dudley; her brothers, Austin David Dudley (Nicolle) and Jack Gordon Dudley; her uncles, Scott Gordon (Heather) and Dustin Gordon; her aunts Susan Dudley and Patricia Dudley and her niece and nephew, Kaylee and Kade Dudley—each of whom will carry her memory forward with deep love and pride.
A memorial will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Living Stones Church, where we will gather to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Amber’s memory, we invite you to support what she cherished most—her sweet 2-year-old son, Jonah Lee Gordon. If you feel moved to help, donations can be made through Hometown Bank via Venmo @JonahLee0509
