Allen James Vick, 75, joined God’s Bowling League in Heaven on May 22, 2014. He was born on November 5, 1938 in Victoria, TX to Albert James & Mary Garcia Vick. He was preceded in death by both his parents and a daughter, Leah Renee’ Vick. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Bernice A Vick of Clear Lake City; a daughter, Donna K. Teague & husband Mark of League City; stepson, Larry J. Laqua & wife, Angela of Dickinson, TX; Grandchildren – John D. Matejek of Pearland, TX; Nathan A. Grizzoffi of Denver, CO, Eric A Grizzoffi of League City, TX; Meagan Laqua LeGrand of League City, TX; Kyle A. Laqua of Dickinson, TX; 2 great grandchildren – Rebecca & Ryan Matejek of Pearland, TX; 5 sisters – Frances Mozisek of Telferner, TX; Shirley Boedeker of Victoria, TX; Jeanette Stone of Forney, TX; Kathleen

Harrison of Forney, TX; Brenda Emery of Little Elm, TX; 4 brothers – Jimmy Vick of Cleburne, TX; Harold E. Vick of Wiley, TX; Larry Vick of Austin, TX; Steven Vick of Dallas, TX; 2 aunts – Lena Spath of Cincinnatti, OH; Flossie Sowell of Garland, TX; 1 uncle- John (Sonny) DeLane of Victoria, TX; numerous cousins. Allen was an electrical superintendent and electrician by trade – who knew that a one day job would turn out to be a career. He greatly enjoyed bowling and had gotten that perfect score of 300 once in his lifetime, 3 times a 299 games, 2 times eleven in a row plagues. Anyone wanting to make a monetary donation to help defray the cost of the funeral, it would be greatly appreciated. Friends and family will gather after the Memorial Service at Red River BBQ, 1911 E.
