Teresa Ann Hooter

Teresa Ann Hooter, 67, resident of Dickinson, Texas passed from this life in the early hours of November 1, 2026 in League City, Texas. She was born to parents Billy Mack Fautheree and Dixie Laverne Strickland March 3, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Teresa was a kind and gentle soul, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her career was in the field of medicine as a registered nurse. Always ready to help in anyway she could.

Mom was a loving, caring, and strong woman whose heart knew no limits when it came to the people she loved. She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself and making sure the people around her knew how much they meant to her. Her love was unconditional, her strength was admirable, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to know her.

We will forever miss her laughter, her sense of humor, and the way she could make us smile even when we needed it most. She had a special way of making memories that would last a lifetime, especially at Christmas. She made the holiday magical, filling it with love, warmth, traditions, and the kind of happiness that made everyone feel at home. Those Christmas memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave us will never leave. No matter how much time passes, she will always be a part of us. She was deeply loved, she will be endlessly missed, and she will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, Eunice and Boatner Hooter, and grandparents, Alice and Edward O. Hooter, and grandson, Cory Briggs.

Teresa leaves behind to share a lifetime of memories, filled with joy and achievements, her beloved husband Howard Leo Hooter; daughter Jenna Layne Williams and husband Jeffery; step- daughter, Michelle Briggs; sons, Jeremy Howard Hooter and wife Jennifer, Jacob Thomas Hooter and wife Joy; step-son, Brian Hooter and wife Jennifer; sister, Vickie Elaine Feltner and husband Carl; grandchildren, Jaiden Hooter, Jentry Hooter, Jillayne Hooter, Jamesyn Hooter, Grace Hooter, and Brook Corrales; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

In her honor a visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 12:00- 2:00PM with a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm in the Living Faith Outreach Church, Dickinson, Texas. Interment will follow immediately at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, Texas.

  2. I hate to hear this. Teresa was so sweet. We went to school together in Texas City, and although it has been a long time since I have seen her, I remember how fun and sweet she was. My sincere condolences to her family.
