Charlcye Sue Worthen, 73, resident of Deer Park, Texas passed from this life, Thursday, June 16, 2026 into eternal rest. She was born in Shreveport, La to parents David White and Ann Dees White on April 25, 1953. Charlcye was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She spent her career in the fire and safety industry as a bookkeeper. Charlcye’s greatest joy was the care of her family, home and most of all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Charlcye leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Christopher Roy Worthen; daughter, Crystal Grabill and husband Donald Wayne Grabill of Mont Belvieu, Tx; son, Cameron Worthen and wife, Marylin Worthen of Sugarland, Tx; grandchildren, Brayden Hook, Emma Ann Grace Hook, Brantley Grabill, Clara Lynn Worthen, Levi Cameron Worthen, and Lottie Mae Worthen; as well as numerous extended family, friends and colleagues.
In her honor a graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 10:00am in the Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock, Texas with Pastor Bryan Clements officiating.
