Billie Marie Utley, 88, a resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on June 5, 2026. She was born on February 24, 1938 in Houston, Texas to parents, Gleeson Vidmon Jackson and Elizabeth Felts Jackson.

Marie married Gary Utley in July of 1956 and they later welcomed two children. They had almost 60 years together before his passing in July of 2016. When their children were teenagers, Marie and Gary always had an open-door policy welcoming their church youth group into their home for Bible studies and fellowship.

Marie was a long-time supporter and advocate for the deaf community and worked as an interpreter for the deaf. Marie and Gary remained active in ministry to the deaf community within their churches over many years through which many longstanding friendships were formed.

She and Gary also welcomed many children from foster care into their home during their time of need. Two of these children were deaf, one of whom, Windy, was adopted into their family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Adrian Utley and daughter, Windy Utley. She leaves behind to treasure her memory, daughter, Cindy Noori and husband, Majid, and son, Frederick Utley. She is also survived by grandchildren MaRee Clayton and husband, Adam, Hayden Utley, Isaac Utley, Brennan Utley, Paymon Noori and wife, Emily, Samira Noori and husband, Jonathan. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren Bella, Benjamin, and Zara. The family would also like to acknowledge their appreciation to Marie’s close friend and companion, Jim Jackson, for the love and care he showed for her until her passing.

A graveside service will be on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10 am at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, TX. Following, the family will be laying Marie and her beloved husband, Gary, to rest eternally together.
