Carolyn “Joy” Poole, 88, a 3-year resident of Pearland TX, previously Houston TX, passed away on October 4th, 2025. She was born on August 8th, 1937 to Christine and William Henry in Mexia TX. Joy was a devout Christian who spent her time of worship at Sagemont Church in Houston, TX. She was an employee at Rollins Environmental for over 30 years as an accountant and benefits coordinator. Joy loved going on vacations and spending her free time with family and friends.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents Christine and William Henry; sisters Maudine Sawyer, Evelyn Turner, Patsy Bonner and Joann Douglas; and brothers James and Lindy Henry. Survived by one brother, Carl Henry.

She is survived by her husband Allen Don Poole and was married for 67 years ; son Craig and wife Ronda Poole; grandchildren Christopher, Michael and wife Kristy Poole as well as loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation at 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday October 11th 2025, at 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland Texas 77581; with a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00 P.M.
