It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Robert “Bobby” Sullivan. Bobby was born on November 30, 1960 in Sulphur, Louisiana. He was the second of 4 siblings.

Bobby grew up in a great time during the 60’s – 70’s. He graduated from Sulphur High School in 1978. He was a proud member of the Golden Tornado Marching Band. He loved music and art, but most of all, he loved flowers. He attended training to be a florist in the early 80’s and never looked back. Bob loved to compete in floral competitions, always striving to be the best. We were always amazed at the talent he had arranging flowers. He worked at, and then later owned, Country Club Florist before moving. Once in Texas, he eventually landed a job at HEB grocery stores, becoming a floral manager. There he found a wonderful family.

Bobby had a big, loving heart. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone. Bob never met a stranger, having friends everywhere from those at Maas Nursery, HEB stores, Black Rock Coffee, the Houston Texan family, and all his favorite restaurants and servers.

Bobby is survived by his: partner, Daniel Cruz; siblings, Cindy Vincent (Lee) of Sulphur, Louisiana, Pat Sullivan (Karen) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Marilyn Sullivan of Sulphur, Louisiana; nieces, Abigail Kirk (Justin), Hannah Bunch (Greyson), Hallie Vincent, and Shelby Drouant (Garrett); nephews, Brandon Vincent (Eva), Justin Vincent (Megan), Collyne Crochet, Brian Vincent, Weston Hyatt. He was a Great Uncle to Kollyne Williams and Jett Kirk. Bob also leaves behind his 4-legged children, Rowdy and Riff Raff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Irene Sullivan.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5-8 p.m., with a rosary being said at 6:30 p.m., at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, Texas 77598. A Service will be on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Crowder Funeral home, with a reception to follow.

The family and Daniel would like to thank everyone for your love of our Bobby. We appreciate all the calls and texts as they show how much he was loved.

  5. Bobby was one of my dearest high school friends! We were in band together and mom just thought of him as another kid of hers. We had so much fun together and even back them, he was a hot mess! We later reconnected in life at the Houston Texans. Bobby’s floral designs were magnificent and he was a Master at his craft! I’ll always remember his laugh and wonderful sense of humor. He and Daniel were a great couple. I’ll miss you so much my friend. Your friendship was a gift!! Love you!
