Sherry Gail Cook
Sherry Gail Cook, age 77, a resident of Dickinson, Texas passed away on July 9, 2025. She was born on December 12, 1947 to parents, Attley Adcock and Dorothy (Sims) Adcock.
Before retiring, she worked as a service supervisor for Sears.
Sherry graduated from the University of North Alabama with a bachelor’s degree.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind to treasure her memory, her loving husband, William Thomas Cook; daughter, Kelli Elizabeth Ellis (Doug); son, William “Dub” Floyd Cook (Kim); sister, Nancy Johnson; grandchildren, William Logan Cook (Nicole), Hunter Riley Cook and Lynzi Nicolle Street and great-grandchild, Rylen Krew Street-Zahm.
In her honor, there will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
Toby and Tom were precious neighbors to us for many years. They were always happy to lend a hand, to visit and watched our children grow. When my youngest son was born, she crocheted a beautiful blue blanket for him. Growing up he brought his blue blanket everywhere and wouldn’t sleep without it, so even once we moved away we always fondly remember her friendship.
