Mary Jane Crawford, 84, a resident of Texas City, passed from this life on June 17, 2024. She was born on May 27, 1941 in Eagle Lake, Texas to parents, Saturnio Gonzales and Consuelo Mary (Smith) Gonzales.

Before moving to Texas City, Mary lived for many years in Bacliff, Texas.

She was a devoted member of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church.

Mary worked in the dry cleaning business.

She was a country music fan and especially fond of Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and Hank Williams. She also enjoyed gardening, but her greatest passion was for family, especially for her grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Crawford and daughter, Connie M. Crawford.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory, sons, John E. Crawford and Shawn P. Crawford; grandchildren, Mackenzie Austin Crawford, Natasha Annie Crawford and Miles Anthony Crawford and great-grandchildren, Emma-Leigh Lynne Anderson and Julius Crawford Carlton.

In her honor, there will be a graveside service on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10:00am at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
