Jessie Walter Bell, Jr.

Jessie Walter Bell, Jr., aged 77, of Brookside Village, passed away on June 11, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born on August 31, 1947, in Houston, TX, to his loving parents Ella and Jesse Bell Sr. From 1969 to 1972, Jessie honorably served our country during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a trim carpenter, showcasing his craftsmanship for countless years. Later, he became the owner and operator of Stop & Sock Driving Range in Houston, a venture he passionately managed for 15 years. Jessie’s love for sports and classic cars was unparalleled. He held a special fondness for the Houston Astros, playing golf, and ice hockey.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ella and Jesse Bell Sr. and leaves behind his devoted wife, Marilyn Bell; his loving daughter, Jessica Allison, and her husband, Kevin Allison; as well as his loyal Labrador retriever and cherished companion, Jake. His memory will live on in their hearts and in the many lives he touched.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jessie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. at Shady Crest Baptist Church, located at 3017 Yost Blvd., Pearland, TX 77581.

Jessie Walter Bell, Jr. will forever be remembered for his service, craftsmanship, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. May his legacy endure in the love and memories shared by his family and friends.
