  1. Steve was my Uncle and a great man. I will miss his sarcasm and humor like no other! I remember saying to him when I was a little girl “I am tall, blonde, and beautiful” and his reply was “Well, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad”! He was a funny man! I always would sit and wonder what he was going to say next. It feels like the world is not the same place without him and his humor already. He never complained and just lived life to the fullest. We miss and love you already Steve…RIP.

  2. From the time I met Steve he was not only a friend, but a brother. He extended to me his hand in Friendship and Brotherly love and I will always remember the way he treated everyone that was around him. Brother Steve, you will be missed!

  4. My condolences to the Family and Friends of Steve. Although I briefly knew Steve, he made me feel as if we’ve known each other as long time friends. Judging by his welcoming character, I am confident in saying, he never met a stranger. There will be a definite void within our NBO40 group. He will be sadly missed by all. May he rest in Peace and God watch over his family in this time of sadness.

  5. Stevie, You were a wonderful friend to myself as to many. You were selfless and were always there to lend a hand and shoulder to cry on. We had so many fun times as well as serious times together. I love you as a friend and now as one of God’s Angels surrounding all whom you loved dearly. Your smile was contagious and will be missed so much!! Love you long time Stevie!! Xxoox

  6. Steve and I called each other cousin, as well as brother, and our family bloodlines intersect somewhere in the Jacks family ancestory. We met first as brother masons 17 years ago, and spent many happy occasions together at Deer Park, and many other lodges. We both served as District Deputy Grand Masters in 2016. Steve was one of the brothers who spent endless hours working with me to polish my Masonic ritual, and it was Steve who pushed me to learn the Masonic funeral service, as well as The Dash poem that he would recite at every Masonic funeral service he performed. That was just the kind of man, and mason, that Steve was. He would go out of his way to help, and he never met a stranger. We have not only lost a link in our fraternal chain, we have lost an anchor. I will miss his sometimes zany sense of humor, and his warm smile and laugh. I pray that his soul finds eternal refreshment in the celestial lodge above, and that God will grant peace and healing to his family and his Masonic Brethren.

  8. Steve was one of the most complex men I have ever known. He had a sense of wisdom seldom encountered nowadays. I will never forget the wisdom that he displayed. Me and my family will miss him greatly. There are too many things that I would love to write about him, but I think the best thing I can place is that he was a God fearing man. Something that is far too rare these days.

  9. Sincere condolences go out to the family. Please find comfort and hope in the guarantee that soon death will be no more (Rev. 21: 3, 4) and the exciting promise that those we have lost will be reunited with us again (Acts 24:15 & Psalms 37:29).
