Michael William Clayton

 Michael William Clayton, A.K.A. “Bad Boy”, 63, passed away Peacefully at his home in San Leon, Texas, on August 9, 2018, surrounded by his beloved wife, his son, and grandson.

Michael was born on September 12, 1954, to Carl Richard Clayton and Betty Louise Clayton.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna; son, David and his wife Gina; and grandson, Blake; sisters, Patty, Carla, Mary, Roberta, and Bessie; brothers, Richard and Jesse; sister-in-law Donna and husband Gary; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Michael was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and raised in Bloomington, California. He moved to San Leon, Texas in the early 90’s.

He was an iron worker in his early career and later became a crane operator in the 1990’s. Both of these professions took Mike all over the country.

Mike was a member of the American Legion, S.O.N.S., Post #359 of Port St. John, Florida and a lifetime Legion Rider. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being around his family and friends and was hard to beat on the “Bowling Machine” that he enjoyed so much.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Graveside service will follow at San Leon Cemetery in San Leon, Texas.

  1. Michael I will miss your smiling face. Every time you came into the bank, you always was smiling made my day. You showed me strength, that no matter what fences you had to climb or walls you hit , you took it and kept going. You were an inspiration to me. I thank you for that.

  3. My condolences to all his family..Mike was always a good friend, we played music together, beginning as teenagers and into our adult lives on ocassion. Sorry to see you go brother..Rest in Peace
