Wilma Nellie Munoz, 89, a resident of Pearland, Texas, since 1995, passed away on September 22nd, 2026. She was born on March 16″h, 1937, to Rafael Gonzalez Sr. and Maria Cardena in New York, New York.

Wilma was a member of the Catholic Daughters Organization and the American Businesswomen’s Association. She worked as a Translator/Patient Liaison at Memorial Hermann for twenty-seven years.

She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Tony Munoz, and her parents, Rafael Gonzalez Sr. and Maria Cardena.

Wilma is survived by her sons, Pete Munoz, Paul Munoz and his wife Delia Munoz; her brother, Rafael Gonzalez Jr.; her granddaughter, Sabrina Ann; many cousins, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories made with her. Wilma enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking, and traveling. More than anything, Wilma loved spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to your local food bank in Wilma’s name.

There will be a memorial service celebrating Wilma’s life at Iglesia la Vida en Cristo, 2735 Fifth Street, Stafford, Tx., 77477, on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
