William Robert Denson Jr.

William Robert Denson Jr., 71, of Pearland, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2020.   He was born December 24, 1948 to his parents William and Claudia Denson in Sugar Land, Texas.  William’ s family and friends refer to him as Bill Jr.  Answering his call to service, Bill Jr. proudly joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Bill Jr. was employed by GB Biosciences Corporation and retired after 36 years of service.

Bill Jr. was a loving and generous man.   He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, and most importantly spending time with his family. Bill Jr. was a man of God. His love for God shined through him. He planted his Love and Faith in the roots of his family, friends and strangers alike.  His favorite bible verse was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Bill Jr. is preceded in death by his father, William Robert Denson Sr., mother Claudia Clifteen Denson, brother Kelley Wayne Denson, ex-wife and special friend Janie Lee Cooper-Denson

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Brown and husband Miles of Pearland, Texas, son Bryan Denson and special friend Genevieve Domingue of Pearland, Texas, brother Donny Denson and wife Sandra of Liberty Hill, Texas, sister in law Pamela Denson of Angleton, Texas, grandchildren Ashley Brown, Hannah Denson, and Logan Brown.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2:00pm at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Briggs, Texas with Brother Roy Smith officiating.
