Wilfred “Bill” Tinney

Wilfred “Bill” Tinney passed away on August 29, 2019 after battling Alzheimer’s Disease.  He is survived by his wife Linda Berryman, his brother Robert, and sister-in-law Susan.
Bill was born October 27, 1955 in Baton Rouge, LA and attended LSU before going to work in the oilfield industry.  He later attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he obtained a computer science degree.  He was a computer programmer in Washington DC and New Jersey; in 1992 he moved to the Chicago area, where he met his future wife Linda.  They moved to Atlanta, GA, married in 2003, then moved to Houston.  Since 2005 they lived in Pearland, TX.
Bill enjoyed target shooting, bird watching, music, reading, and writing.  He had a great sense of humor, was intelligent, and good-hearted.  He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
