  8. I went to Texas City in 1970 with two small boys. I had just been divorced, and she became my friend and we traded babysitting as she had two small boys too. She was working at the post office at the time, and help me a lot because I was dead broke had never worked outside the house before, and starving. She helped feed me and she helped encourage me. I wish I had been able to get up with her sooner and I am so sorry to hear that she passed away in 2020. She knew me as Carrie Wilson but my name now is Carrie Rowe as I went back to my maiden name. Winona I love you and I miss you.

    Carrie Rowe
