Vickie Sue Bente, 81, resident of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away on October 27, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1944 in Enid, Oklahoma to parents, Deal Earl Hollibaugh and Juanita Esther (Smith) Hollibaugh.

Vickie lived her early life in Hamilton, Montana, before settling in Texas, first in the Ft. Worth area, and then in Santa Fe, where she lived for over 50 years.

Vickie believed her greatest accomplishment to be her sobriety of over 41 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Melissa Heath.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory, daughters, Alice Bente and Robin Bente; son, Eriec Bente (Jodie), eight grandchildren, Eric Albertson, Elizabeth Kelly, Kyle Kelly, Casey Clark, Megan Patterson, Jacob Ballard, Emily Patterson and Colbie Ballard; and two great-grandchildren, Eli Clark and Andrew Clark.

She also leaves behind her ever supportive sisters, Dee Havins and Sandy Rose along with her other siblings Molly Doskocil and Kirby Nichols.
