Troy Deane Porter, Sr.
Troy Deane Porter, Sr., 64, of Alvin, TX, passed away on February 10th, 2026. He was born on October 17th, 1961, to his parents, Roberta and Carleton Porter, in Los Angeles, California.
Troy was a loving husband , a hardworking father, and a devoted grandfather. He enjoyed watching Football (Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans), and his quiet strength and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Roberta and Carleton Porter; his brother, Darrin Porter ; his paternal grandparents, Deane C. Porter, Mariana W. Porter ; his maternal grandmother Charlotte Evangeline Kualii “Eva” Lyman Reed and dearest loved ones Marie G. Porter, and Richard and Alice Evans.
Troy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sabrina Porter; daughter Roberta Porter; sons Troy Porter, Jr., and Donald Gilchrist; brother Sean Porter; and grandchildren Braydn Gilchrist and James Porter.

My brother from another mother. Knew this guy since 1982. Was always there for me when I needed him. My heart goes out to Sabrina and the kids. He will be deeply missed but always remembered. Love you to the moon and back Troy.
