Tracy Lyn Moon, of League City, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in Houston, Texas at the age of 55.  She was born on September 4, 1970 in Austin, Texas to Darwin and Gayle Herms.

Tracy attended the University of Texas where she studied business.  She worked with her husband at Don Moon Telecom as a wiring technician and bookkeeper.  Tracy loved her family and enjoyed their company especially during holidays. She enjoyed a love of cooking, her favorite being desserts which she often shared photos of with family.  Tracy could never say “no” to a fluffy kitten or a playful pup, carrying a deep affection for animals throughout her life.  Her latest addition was her cat Tommy in which she spoke about his frequent outdoor hunting adventures.  Tracy also enjoyed her time fishing with her husband Donnie in Rockport.  Their trips there were very special to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Darwin and Gayle Herms, and grandparents Albert and Laura Herms.

Tracy is survived by her husband Donald Moon, her step-daughter Molly Moon and husband Tyler Bennett, her grandson Camden, her step-daughter Allison Moon.  Also by her sister Karen Calabrese and husband Frank, brother Bruce Herms and wife Dawn and several nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 6-9:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.  A Ceremony will follow on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00am.  A Grave Side Ceremony will follow at Seabrook Cemetery, 615 Pine Gully Road, Seabrook, Texas 77586.
