Steve “BB” Barajas

Steve “BB” Barajas born December 17 1962 in Galveston Texas met his lord and savior September 25th 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Clear Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Sr Barajas & Maria Del Refugio Perez, sister Ericka Barajas, brother Christopher Barajas, Sister In law Leah Barajas, paternal grandparents Juan Pablo & Manuelita Barajas maternal grandparents Emilio & Felicitas Perez as well as loving Uncles & Aunts and dear cousins. He is survived by his niece Jessica & Spouse Noe, with their children Layla & Alex, Siblings Linda Barajas. Brother Paul Jr. Barajas. Steve leaves behind to cherish his memory nieces, Kayce & Kristen Barajas, Ashlie Jacobo & spouse Omar, Erin Barajas, nephews Jonathan Terrazas – nephew & godson Joshua Barajas & spouse Jessica, great Nieces Elizabeth, Gabriela, Naveah, Jailyne & Adelina He was raised in Alvin Texas where he attended and graduated from Alvin High School in 1981. He went on to pursue his studies at Alvin Community College and obtained his degree at University of Houston Clear Lake.  Steve served and was well known for 17 years of retail management. It was while working a night shift at Stop N Go he was introduced to the idea of working in law enforcement where he created some of his most specials moments with the dearest people for 22 years at League City Police Department, he worked as a Police Service Technician & respectfully retired while working in records. Steve loved to dance, sing & cook but most of all he loved his family. Steve was known for his contagious laughter, bright smile, his big heart and his love for Jesus. He was an eternal member at Cristo Para Todos in Alvin Texas. He taught his family to love unconditionally and often spoke of God’s love, he was loved and will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him.

A Celebration of Steve “BB” s Barajas life will be held on Saturday October 2, 2021 at Crowder Funeral Home 1645 E Main Street, League City Texas 77573 Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Service from 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

  2. My prayers and condolences to the Barajas Family . I met and worked with Steve back in the early 80’s at a small corner grocery store Food King before it was called Summers Groceries in its early years and finally name change to Viva Food Mart
    Those were great years to remember from Steve and some of his family working there , in those few years that I work there Steve was a kind but direct person who always treated you respectfully but fair I will never forget Steve and all the other people that worked there
