  1. Our family wishes to send our sincere prayers to my friend and former classmate James Fiedler and the other members of the family. Mr. Fiedler was a man I didnt know but do know he was a fine man from conversations with friends and family.

  2. What a wonderful and upright man Papa Sid was! My life was enriched for having known him. He always made you feel special when you visited him and I cherish the memories of just sitting on the couch and talking with him and hearing his many recollections of his younger years. I so enjoyed his sharing some of his Friday nights with me at the VFW where he would remind me that he was going to “save me a seat next to him” and the welcoming smile and big hug he always had waiting for you when you arrived. You will be missed Papa Sid and thank you for allowing me to share in your life!

  3. To the Fiedler family. Sid was and always will be very special to us. We had the honor of living across the street from him for 28 years. We were always there for each other. 4th Ave N will never be the same. He was a true man of honor. We will really miss him. Love Gary and Melanie Loving

  4. My heartfelt sympathy to the Fiedler family. The loss of a loved one is such a devastating time. A scripture I have found comforting is Isaiah 41:10 where it tells us that God will give us strength and comfort. He promises to “fortify” us and says “I will really hold on to you with my right hand.” May the God of all comfort be with you at this time. (2 Corinthians 1:2-4)
