Sandra “NaNa” Pearl Oliver

Sandra “NaNa” Pearl Oliver, 79, of Dickinson, passed away December 29, 2017, in Texas City. She was born December 17, 1938 in Galveston, Texas to parents John and Anita Sweeney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jackie Sweeney and wife Virginia, brother Pat Sweeney and wife Gloria, brother BoBo Sweeney, and sister BeBe Sweeney, son-in-law William E. Oliver.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 60 years Jack Oliver, sister Billie Bauer and husband Bob, sister Ruth Soler and husband Richard, niece Wanda Knotts and husband Jim; children Raymond Oliver and wife Nancy, Ronnie Oliver and wife Debbie, Lori R. Glenn (Mark D. Glenn, deceased), and Susan Welch and husband Fred; eleven grandchildren, Cory Oliver and wife Crystal, Christina James and husband Matthew, Callie Maxwell and husband Dane, Carla Oliver, J. P. II Oliver and wife Amanda, Casey Reid and husband Cory, Patrick Oliver and wife Samantha, Johnathon Oliver, Christopher Oliver, Kathleen Beaumont and husband Adam, William Oliver; thirteen great grandchildren Aden, Cash, Isabelle, Andrew, Jackson, Grayson, Harrison, Ty, Logan, Jack, Evelyn, Kynsley, and Wyatt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family and children were her pride and joy. She loved to sew, especially for her grandchildren, doing crafts and coloring.
In her honor, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m., at Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Hitchcock, Texas. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
