Rudolph R. Gonzales

Rudolph R. Gonzales, 61, passed away on May 27, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was born on October 14, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rudolph and Rosemary Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Deidre; daughter, Chandler; son, Josh; his siblings, Chris, Cindy, Patsy, and Grace; his grandchildren, Josiah, Kezi and Will and numerous family members and friends. Rudy worked in the Oil and Gas industry the majority of his life. He loved what he did and was passionate about his career until his retirement from ExxonMobil on March 31 of 2021. He loved his family, cooking, hunting and helping others. He will always be lovingly remembered as a kind and generous man that only wanted to make people happy. He will live in our hearts forever.

A memorial will be held on Monday, June 7th from 11 am – 1 pm at Crowder Funeral Home on Medical Center Blvd in Webster, TX. In Lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation in Rudy’s memory may do so to The Boys and Girls Club of Corpus Christi at www.bgccb.org.

  1. The news was so sudden, my heart is so saddened.
    I remember your outgoing personality, everyone you met was a friend.
    I will always be fond of the basketball games in our outdoor court on our MEGI compound,
    in the West African heat, humidity, and no-see-ums we played on.
    You were a generous host and great cook of house seven.
    You were one of the ones that kept us together when we found ourselves so far from family and friends.
    Will always keep you in my prayers.
