Robert Wayne Ebert

Robert Wayne Ebert, 60, of Texas City, Texas passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Texas City. Robert was born September 23, 1962, in Texas City to John and Emma M. Ebert. He graduated from La Marque High School in 1981. Robert retired from the Texas City Fire Department as a Captain/Paramedic and EMS Administrator with thirty years of service.  He also retired from the Friendswood Fire Department as a Paramedic.  He was a good member in standing of the Texas City Professional Firefighter Association.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Ebert. He is survived by his wife, Belinda Ebert and one daughter, Emma Elizabeth Ebert, and son-in-law, David Rattray.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, Texas. A service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Trinity Episcopal Church  705 22nd Street Galveston, Texas, with Rev. Jimmy Abbott officiating. Interment will take place at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas following the service.

  1. It was an honor to have met him on several occasions. I am blessed to have Emma in my lsons life and in mine.. Robert was a force in Emma’s life and will always be loved and missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers remain with you.

  2. I was honored to serve with Bob through most of his career. He was an asset to the department and a wealth of knowledge to all. We will truly miss him. Ours will always be with his family.

  3. Robert was truly one of the kindest souls. He took care of everything at Willie T’s at Trinity always making sure I never had to worry. He had a sweet smile, a soft voice, and would give you the shirt off his back. I’m only sorry I didn’t reach out to him during Covid and since. I know he is with our Father in heaven.
