Robert W. Phebus

Bob was born April 23, 1959 in Danville, Illinois. He graduated from Danville  High School in 1977. Bob had been an Illinois State Correctional Officer for 30 years, retiring in 2009.  Bob passed from this life, May 5, 2021.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his dad at the circus. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren whether it was in person or on video chat. He had a life long passion for fishing, which after retiring, he moved to Texas to spend more time doing.

Bob was survived by his four children, Brian (Amanda), Jeremy, Cassandra (Jesus), and Zachary (Brianna). He is survived by his mother, Irene, one brother, Jim (Sandy), and two sisters, Lori (Buddy) and Linda (Mike). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert.

Per his wishes, Bob was cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

  3. My sincere condolences to the Phebus family. Mr.Phebus truly will be missed at our clinic, by our team and patients they called him friend. It is truly a loss for our Davita LaMarque family. We enjoyed talking to him about life.
