Robert “Squash” Sukiennik

Robert “Squash” Sukiennik, 61, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at his residence.  Robert was born November 12, 1964, in Galveston, Texas to Nathan and Patricia Sukiennik.  Robert was an operator at a chemical plant.  He enjoyed fishing, cruising the Texas City Dike, cooking, and runs to Buc-ee’s and the dollar store.  Robert was preceded in death by mother and his wife, Cynthia Sukiennik.  He is survived by his father; two daughters:  Kaycee Schwartz (Geno Gutierrez) of Hitchcock and Laycie Skowron (PJ) of Alvin; grandkids: Damien, Beaux, Jax, Payton, Mia, and Kenleigh; his siblings: Kendall and Ronald.   At the request of Robert, there will not be a service. Arrangements are under the direction of James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque.

  9. I met you and your brother along time ago at the La Marque volunteer fire department, yall were named Squish and Squash.
    Then I saw you again around 2016 when I started part time job at a local credit union you where your were a member.

  11. Condolences from My Family to the Sukiennik Family during Your time of Bereavement. Robert was a very Nice and Mannerable Soul. I’ve Known Robert since Our 9th / 10th Grade years in the La Marque school system, as well as We worked together at the Texas City, Texas McDonald’s until We all Graduated from La Marque and went Our separate ways to see what Life had to offer Us.
