Robert Scott Wilkie
Our beloved son, brother, and friend, Robert Scott Wilkie was taken away from us, far too soon, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in League City Texas, at the young age of 37.
Our beautiful, blue-eyed, blond haired Robert was born on February 18, 1984 in Houston, Texas to Duncan Richard Wilkie and Anita Jean Alvarez.
Robert was known for his skills of being able to fix anything. His mind was always focused on what made things “work”. When he was little, he would take things apart and study them, and eventually he was able to put them back together. This later evolved into his becoming a mechanical/electrical genius, who worked on multi-million dollar yachts. He loved what he did and made many lifelong friends in the industry. Of course, it goes without saying that he loved the outdoors and being on the water. Robert was so full of life and he brought light and joy to every moment. He never met a stranger and his genius and creative soul will live on thru all those he has touched.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duncan Richard Wilkie; Paternal grandparents, Malcolm McFarlane Wilkie and Lillian Louise Wilkie; and Maternal grandparents Edwin Paul Wendler and Jean Coit Wendler.
He is survived by his mother, Anita Jean Alvarez step-father, Juan Ygnacio Alvarez; step-mother, Kathryn Wilkie; two siblings, brother James Richard Wilkie and his wife, Christina Isabell Wilkie and his sister, Nicole Michelle Alvarez. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Rooster.
Public viewing will be at the Crowder Funeral Home at 1645 East Main Street, League City, TX, on Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 5 to 9 pm.*
Funeral Services will be held at Citymark Church at 231 W Main St., League City, TX 77573 on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11 am.
Robert had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, who has taken him into His flock. One day, we all meet again.
Robert was a great man who became my friend in high school. He turned out to be my lifelong friend for what turned out to be over 20 years! In that time I saw Robert help more people than some people help in an entire lifetime. He was a pure genius and a joy to be around. He will be missed by every person he ever met!

I’m not sure if it didn’t save before or what happened. So I will repost! Robert was such an amazing person! I love him more than anything. We immediately had a special bond ! He was so smart and kind and loving. When he was around my kids he did everything to show them he cared about them too! Man Rooster is sure going to miss him. That dog slept in bed with us while he was in town every night. I love them both very much. I have so many unanswered questions and I know we all do. I just wish I wouldn’t have listened to him and went back and held him and told him everything’s doing to be ok my deepest condolences to the family. I never got to meet y’all but he had nothing but amazing things to say about y’all. I’ve know Robert since 2017 and we started dating in January this year towards the end, and was only together 3.5 months. I immediately fell in love with how amazing he treated me his laughter, his care for my kids snd and I know he told me he immediately fell in love for my independence and great personality (what he told me all the time! Sorry for the book I have a lot to say since I only found out today about my boyfriend and missed the services which I know where beautiful!!! Again deepest condolences to fellow friends and family!

I just heard of his passing. I am so sorry this young, hard-working intelligent man has left this earth so early. He did the maintenance on my yacht for over ten years. Once we got out of boating we lost touch, I am sorry to say.
