We simply do not have appropriate words to express our extreme grief at the loss of Richard. Obviously, he was an accomplished and compassionate educator.
You must be extremely proud to have had Richard as son. He obviously made a positive impact on many people and that impact will be felt by future generations.
Carole and I know your strong Christian faith will provide the strength and assurance needed for this time. We pray the Holy Spirit comforts you, guides you,
    and brings you peace.

  12. Richie and I went to CyFair High School together and were in the band. I moved out of state before I graduated, but Ritchie got back in touch with me several decades later when he heard I was down the road in the music department at San Jac. He was a true educator and reached out to me to get extra support for some of his band students. Our professional paths crossed a few more times and I was always happy to see how much he loved being an educator. He loved his students and they loved him. He will be missed.
