Richard F. Brummerhop
Richard F. Brummerhop, 71, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away on June 30, 2026. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Richard lived a life marked by deep compassion, unwavering faith, and a genuine love for people.
Richard was passionate in his love of Jesus, and his faith shaped the way he cared for others. He graduated from Texas A&M University with an engineering degree and built a long career in industrial sales, where his integrity and ability to connect with people made him widely respected.
A man of many interests, Richard loved to travel, cook, and spend time on his Harley Davidson—though truly, any motorcycle could bring him joy. He had a soft spot for animals and was known for his gentle way with them. Later in life, he found fulfillment working as a small engine repairman, a role that perfectly suited his hands‑on nature and problem‑solving spirit.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances Brummerhop. He is survived by his siblings John, Jeff, Janis, and Lori; his brother‑in‑law Mark Mason; his nephews Bobby, Johnny, and Cody; his nieces Lindsey, Elizabeth, and Shelby; and his great‑nephews Vincent, Aiden, and Atlas. Each of them carries a piece of his kindness, humor, and steady presence.
Service details will be provided at a later time.
Richard’s life was rich with curiosity, generosity, and a willingness to help anyone who needed it. His presence made the world feel warmer, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Richard was intelligent and quick to solve problems while keeping a great sense of humor in the process. He had various motorcycles and even sold me one at a good price. He was widely known and respected in the chemical and related industries as an expert in specialty parts including steam traps and other parts. He had a deep faith and looked for the best in people. Richard will be deeply missed, and heaven will welcome him.
It has been a long time since I last saw him, but he will be greatly missed.
I was so saddened to hear this news. Richard was a kind, dear friend in high school- always with a ready smile and quick wit. He will be dearly missed. Prayers of peace and comfort lifted for the Brummerhop family.
