Richard F. Brummerhop, 71, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away on June 30, 2026. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Richard lived a life marked by deep compassion, unwavering faith, and a genuine love for people.
Richard was passionate in his love of Jesus, and his faith shaped the way he cared for others. He graduated from Texas A&M University with an engineering degree and built a long career in industrial sales, where his integrity and ability to connect with people made him widely respected.
A man of many interests, Richard loved to travel, cook, and spend time on his Harley Davidson—though truly, any motorcycle could bring him joy. He had a soft spot for animals and was known for his gentle way with them. Later in life, he found fulfillment working as a small engine repairman, a role that perfectly suited his hands‑on nature and problem‑solving spirit.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances Brummerhop. He is survived by his siblings John, Jeff, Janis, and Lori; his brother‑in‑law Mark Mason; his nephews Bobby, Johnny, and Cody; his nieces Lindsey, Elizabeth, and Shelby; and his great‑nephews Vincent, Aiden, and Atlas. Each of them carries a piece of his kindness, humor, and steady presence.
