Richard Eugene Brower
Richard Eugene Brower, 76, of Pearland, TX, passed away on April 19, 2024 in Pearland. Richard was born on June 20, 1947 to Robert and Alberta Brower in Evansville, IN. Mr. Brower served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He has been a truck driver for over 50 years and has been a resident in Pearland for the past 28 years, formerly of Katy, TX. He was a very social man that never met a stranger. He loved telling stories of his time in the US Navy and just about life in general.
HE will be greatly missed by many. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alberta Brower; wife of 47 years Diana Brower and daughter Bobbi Purvis. He is survived by daughters Jessica Clifft and Deana Cull; son John Brower; sisters Carol Sunday, Mary Treash and Edna Brower; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
I miss Big Rich . I met him over 20 years ago and never lost touch. He talked about his family so much and so vividly I feel as though I know each of them. Richard definitely had the gift of gab and I told him many times that he missed his calling , he should have been a car salesman.
