  1. Mom,
I feel like my goodbye to you should have been better. I couldn’t find the words to say. I’ve never been good at communicating my feelings. So like always, I just couldn’t talk. But I was numb..shocked. I thought we had so many more years left and you just left so soon. You loved so hard. I know you were so proud of me. You thanked God that I was happy. You loved us more than life itself. I should have made you go to the hospital the other day but I didn’t. Maybe you wouldn’t have fallen. Maybe we could have prevented the heart attack. Maybe we could have caught something a little sooner. Maybe you were just tired of fighting the sickness and tired of dealing with everything. Maybe you had a feeling. Maybe it was your time to go to heaven and I couldn’t have prevented anything. I know you are at peace and no longer have to deal with the many things you struggled with. Over the last several years you were so very grateful for the things I did for you, no matter how big or small. I hope you heard me when I told you I love you. I hope you felt that love when i was beside you even if I couldn’t communicate it. I hope you know that I’ll love you every single day. I love you mom. Forever and ever. Thank you for being you. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Rest in peace in heaven.

My heartfelt, sincerest sympathy and condolences for each of your personal loss from Rachael’s sudden passing.
My not having been present at my dear sweet mother’s passing was personally very devastating.
Racheal was a very loving person and will be very much missed. May we each remember our individual cherished memories of her.
May God bless and strengthen each and everyone of you.

  7. Hermana!

  8. Mom,
It was 49 years ago today that you gave birth to me. Today I celebrate the many great memories I am left with and the fact knowing that you are at peace in heaven to live forevermore. I thought we would have so many more years to celebrate life together. I am thankful for all you have done for me over the years. The years that I played music you were always my biggest fan. You would always love to hear me play the guitar or drums and listen to me play for hours. I remember all the fun times we had together, the times we shared and all the years you supported everything I did. You inspired me to cook and make delicious food because I loved the way you cooked. I am thankful for the great Mom that you were and will never forget you. I end this message not with a goodbye but the knowing that I will see you again one day in heaven. Until then ,Love you Mom!

  12. My heartfelt sympathy to Rachel’s family, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. On one of Rachel’s visit to Uvalde to visit her sister Becky, I was invited to join in their company and as I remember Rachel now, she lived a good life, God knew, but He still needed her now. She will undoubtedly be missed, but will live in our hearts and thoughts. May She rest in peace, may God bless you and may memories of her bring you peace and reassure you that love endures forever.
    With prayer and sympathy,
    Martha Reyes – Uvalde, TX.

  17. My dear cousins Olga, Dora and Becky, I am so sorry to hear of Rachel’s passing. My fondest memories of Rachel are the good times we had as children, running from our yard to her house and all over our Grandparents’ yard. It was a wonderful life we both had, surrounded by our parents and grandparents. It’s consoling to know that she is back in that happy place surrounded by loving family that has gone before us.

    Rest in peace, dear cousin.
