Our deepest love and condolences to all the family of John. He will be greatly missed. His contributions to the culinary institutions cannot be compared, His.love for the.making of gingerbread houses, was absolutely remarkable and beautiful. A man of honor, he was filled with the love of life and he shared that love to everyone he came in contact with . Rest in peace. All our love from Angel, Mike, Anthony, and Ivana.
The first cake I ever saw that he baked was Karen Nix’s birthday cake at an after church birthday party. It was decorated with a beautiful purple lily (I think). It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. He later made the best wedding cake ever for my son and new DIL, James and Angela Lacy. He helped his friends add that touch of beauty to every celebration. Over the years, I watched him take many separate things, ingredients, people, and turn them in to something beautiful for his friends and family. What special gifting and talent he had…and shared.
He will be missed but I take comfort in knowing I’ll see him again.
My love and condolences to his whole family.
