In Loving Memory of Phyllis Paulette Shipman

Phyllis Paulette Shipman passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026.
Paulette was born on July 28, 1950, in Lubbock to Fred and Margie Thompson. She attended school in Texas City and later completed beauty school, working as a hairdresser for 15 years. She later pursued massage therapy school and enjoyed a long career as a massage therapist until her retirement.
Paulette found joy in creating crafts, floral design, and traveling. She was known for her creativity, caring nature, and love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Thompson and Margie Thompson.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Brandy Arnold and husband Mike; grandchildren, Adrien Shipman and husband Justin, Jonathan Perez and wife Amber and Stormy Arnold and boyfriend Jeremy; five great-grandchildren, Lyrik, Zachariah, Kyler, Emma, and Aubry; and her brother, Jerry Thompson and nieces, nephews and extended family.
Paula will be deeply missed every day by all who knew and loved her.
In her honor a visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:00 – 1:OOpm with a funeral service at 1:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas. Internment to follow.
