Paul Cranston Wood, 91, passed away on April 24, 2015, in Houston, Texas.  He was born in Wheelersburg, Ohio, on October 24, 1923, to Ralph and Gertrude Wood.  Paul is survived by his wife, Jeanne Roush Wood, sons and daughters-in-law Timothy and Sonia Wood and James and Christine Wood, sister-in-law Jane Wood of Columbus, Ohio, grandsons Patrick McMahon and wife Elizabeth and Anthony Paul Wood.  Paul was a graduate of Ohio State University (BS Geology).  Paul was an employee of Texaco as a geologist in oil and gas exploration and production for his entire career at various locations including West Virginia, Illinois, Oklahoma, and, lastly, the New Orleans Offshore District.  Paul loved to travel.  He was also a train enthusiast and loved steam train excursions.  A memorial will be held on May 9^th, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 16335 El Camino Real, Houston, TX, 77062.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Paul’s memory may do so to the Clear Lake United Methodist Church Music Excellence Fund.
