  1. The first time I met Pat, I knew she was in love with my brother and that she would always be there for him. Through good times and bad, I was right. The annual trip back to freezing cold Illinois to spend Christmas with her mother-in-law, the weekend she surprised us by coming to Las Vegas to be married, the trek to the Grand Canyon with her Dad and stepmother – these were good times. Bringing my brother back from the brink of death five years ago was bad, but she did it in her own quiet, gentle way. Our family will not be the same without her.
